How to listen on your Alexa-enabled device

Two minutes of positivity, added to your flash briefing.

Things2LiveFor · /alexa

Listening to Things2LiveFor on an Alexa-enabled device runs through the flash briefing rather than through a podcast app. Open the Alexa app or website, search for the “Things2LiveFor” skill, and enable it.

Once the skill is enabled

Add the skill to your flash briefing and you are done. From then on, when you want to listen, you simply ask Alexa for your flash briefing and the episode plays alongside whatever else you have put in there. Because the episodes are about two minutes long, the show sits comfortably in a briefing next to the weather and the headlines without stretching it out.

If the flash briefing is new to you

The flash briefing is Alexa’s short daily round-up, assembled out of whichever skills you have chosen to add to it. Amazon publishes a step-by-step guide to setting one up, and the Things2LiveFor skill behaves like any other entry in it once added.
